By installing or using the CapsCue Chrome extension ("CapsCue", "the extension"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the extension.
CapsCue is a free browser extension that displays a small alert when Caps Lock is on while you are typing in a text field on a webpage. It runs entirely inside your browser and does not depend on any external service to function.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use CapsCue for its intended purpose, on any device where you use Chrome, for as long as you keep it installed.
You agree not to reverse engineer, resell, or repackage CapsCue for distribution as your own product, and not to use it in any way that violates applicable law.
CapsCue is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the alert will catch every instance of Caps Lock being on — for example, it can only respond to keyboard or mouse events it observes, so it cannot detect a Caps Lock state that was already on before you interact with a field for the first time in a session.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, CapsCue — including but not limited to text typed in the wrong case before the alert was seen.
We may update CapsCue or these terms from time to time. Continued use of the extension after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, which will always be posted at this same URL.
You may stop using CapsCue at any time by uninstalling it from Chrome. We may discontinue the extension at any time; since CapsCue stores no data on any server, there is nothing further to delete on our end when you do.
